Bazley Grace Moore faced what can be a tumultuous time in anyone’s life, regardless of age. At 12 years old, she learned her family would be making a cross the coast move from North Carolina — a place she had called home her whole life — to Boston. With the thought of starting over in a whole new place and leaving behind everything she’d built to-date, Bazley had two options: she could let her challenges overtake her emotions, or she could take control of her own life and become the best version of herself, no matter what setting she was in.

With that, the power of affirmations in Bazley Grace’s own life began to take shape. She’d start every morning with a positive mantra, whether it be ‘I can do hard things’ or ‘What’s for me, will never pass me by.’ Upon completing her move to Boston, she became acutely aware of how much those affirmations had strengthened her self-confidence and turned her into a strong leader at just 13. From posting sticky notes on her bathroom mirror, to hyping herself up with affirmations before her first days at a new school, to solidifying to herself that being unique was a positive — affirmations changed Bazley Grace’s life.

While it may have begun with Bazley Grace, it does not stop with her. Affirmations have the power to empower girls across the country to become their own biggest fans, and in turn, pour love into their own communities. Through her own life experiences, and the mission of The Affirmation Effect, Bazley Grace is setting out to reach girls in new ways as they embark on a journey of self-confidence, community empowerment and owning what makes them an original copy.

Apart from being a CEO and Founder of The Affirmation Effect, Bazley Grace is a published author, acclaimed harpist, pageant titleholder and motivational speaker. Based in the Boston area, Bazley is making waves in her community and is a force to be reckoned with.
